Merrty Christmas and Happy New Year! We made it back from Florida on Christmas Eve in time to begin our holiday celebrations, including a visit from the big guy!

Quick, we need to get to bed, Santa's on the move!

Cookie and carrots are ready!

'Twas the night before Christmas!

The most beautiful and magical night of the year!

Merry Christmas!

Big Brother is excited for his gift from Little Sweetie!

Enjoying presents!

Christmas lunch!

There weren't many Mass times we could make, so we ended up at Spanish Mass!

Ending Christmas with an author's reading of her new book release.
We spent the rest of our holiday break enjoying toys and family outings.

Building the hydraulic cyborg hand was a big hit!

So was the National Parks puzzle!

Roller skating with friends!
And then it was the end of 2024! We decided to end the year at the zoo and by checking out the new Houston Commons park nearby.

Zoo fun!

The new park was pretty cool!
As per usual, we turned in early and celebrate noon New Year together on January 1.

Happy 2025!

Celebrated with some cookie baking!

More building, friend time, and crafts kept Little Sweetie very happy!
Little Sweetie's other big activity this month was our Girl Scout Community Campout! We got to stay in the treehouses this time and I have to say, I was so impressed by how mature and self sufficient she and her friends were for this event. So much growth since the last one 2 years ago!

Bitterly cold, but these girls did great! So proud of them!
Height and Weight
Somehow this girl grew again and is just over 59 inches and now 87 pounds!

Happy girl with some new fox stickers!
Personality
She's definitely got that tween attitude, but she still wants her Momma and Daddy. Little Sweetie is fun and funny and I'll take all the cuddles I can get.

Daddy was out of town, so Little Sweetie wanted a sleepover in the big bed!
Developmental Milestones
Our girl is holding her own in Junior High--so many projects, ay yi yi! She still loves reading and creating and basketball continues to be her favorite sport. They are the youngest and smallest team in their league, but she pushes herself and show a lot of confidence on the court!

Lots of fun watching her play!
Fun Tidbits
Enjoyed doing some service over break, which was even more fun with a friend!
Crown painting with T!
And here we go, ready as we can be for the adventures the new year will bring
Good night,
