But she's ready. She's been more than ready for awhile, but Momma's anxiety and Little Buddy's clinical trial schedule prevented it. And we're started off slow. Pre-K 3, two mornings a week. To be fair, our time together is precious and I am not ready to be apart too often yet. But I do need to start letting the world have some more of her time. Because Little Sweetie is truly spectacular.
Hurricane Harvey pushed back her school year, but she finally got to meet her teacher and get her backpack. She is so excited!
She is also very excited that her buddy, K, is in her class. This was after their first chapel, the day before their classes started.
Special Momma and Little Sweetie day before school starts. Just being together and she asked for color on her nails. She picked sparkly blue. Every moment with her is a gift.
And here she goes to her "Teddy Bear" school!

As emotional as the day was, thankfully Momma has some good friends who keep her mind occupied with a Boo Hoo Brunch so that she didn't miss her little girl so much.

She had a great first day! She made chocolate pudding and got to be the flag holder. I can't wait to hear about all of her upcoming adventures. So proud of her.
