June 19

Someone is growing bigger and stronger and smarter and faster and kinder every day and she knows it!  So excited for our spring and summer adventures this year, but I'll be missing our daily Momma and Me routines!

Last days of Boot Camp until fall and cooler temps.

Our regular My Gym class and Pure lunch date are the stuff of legends.

As are the naps that follow our busy days!

Best friends!

Modeling our favorite Momma and Me dresses after Church!

But the seasons change and bring their own fun!  Lots of outside time and sibling time now that Big Brother is out of school!

Kicking off Spring with Mother's Day and starting off Summer with Father's Day!  Blessed to have both of these two in our worlds

Someone loves baseball and to root for her Astros!!!  Momma was able to sneak on an Indians cap when she wasn't looking.  ;)

Her favorite player is Altuve (because "he's little like me!") and she loves to channel her inner baseball player.  She's actually starting to get into sports...both in sunshine and...

...in rain!  And it turns out clothes are optional!  We are excited for her to be in a few sports camps this summer to see what she enjoys.

Summertime means heat and heat means we should make our own popsicles!  She loved it!

Summer bike riding bliss!

Summer also means that all her hard work from her garden is paying off!  Look at her harvest!

In Texas, the summer heat pushes us to LOTS of water play.  Very thankful for our kiddie pool and days out on the lake!

Seeing them play together makes me SO happy!

Loving lake life!

But sometimes all that lake fun...

...can wear you out!

Even got to have a special trip to Lake Charles and Ms. A our babysitter came with us!  Lots of fun swimming there, but we didn't get any pictures.  Too busy in the water!

Family Chuy's lunches again now that Bubby is out of school!

And sometimes we get lunches with new friends, like Ms. M, Momma's friend from college!

Height and Weight
Still right around 35 pounds and now closing in on 38 inches!

Personality
Um, she's Wonder Woman.  What else is there to say?

Don't mind her.  She's just a super hero, here to save the day.

Developmental Milestones
Obviously her gross motor stuff is still going strong with her love of sports and bike-riding, but she also discovered hopscotch at Big Brother's horse therapy ranch!

Just hopping along.

And her creativity knows no bounds.  We never know what adventures she will come up with next! And she's very purposeful and detailed with her play.

Magnatile engineer!

Stuffed animals like bedtime stories too!

But I have to say, science time is still some of her favorite time!  I love watching her mind grow as she starts to ask good questions while exploring her world.

Mining gems and tornado time...this girl loves science!

But I'd have to say that her biggest developmental milestone this past month was emotional.  Since summer started, Little Sweetie has had a big adjustment.  It's not just her and Momma anymore, Big Brother is home and Big Brother needs lots of Momma's attention for his safety.  She's starting to understand that (she now reminds us that Little Buddy can't help being loud or throwing things or acting out because of his "Sanflipo") but that doesn't mean she has to like sharing attention.  Or that she has to like Momma leaving for week long Minnesota trips.  So when we were ready to go to our first try at Vacation Bible School, she was NOT happy about the fact that she would be in the preschool class all morning while Momma was with Big Brother as his aide in his class.  However, she worked really hard on overcoming her fears and making new friends and she made it successfully through VBS!  It was good practice for her for preschool this fall!

Little girl is growing up!  VBS went well and was a good stepping stone for her upcoming preschool debut!

Fun Tidbits
Little Sweetie was also very sweet with Big Brother's birthday this month.  She wanted to help him with his cake and his presents and is very excited about bike riding with him and his new adaptive tricycle!  She plays mail truck with him as she delivers the mail from our mailbox from her bike basket to his.  Love seeing them find a way to play together!

Happy birthday, Bubby!

We'll see everyone next month!  Bye from the whole crew!

Family time!

Until next month
