February 19

Another great month for this big girl!  She got to have lots of special Daddy/Daughter time this month too, which she loved!

First off, our baby girl definitely got her Daddy's work ethic and has been very busy helping him with all the projects around the house.  No task too tough or too dirty for this strong girl!

Helping Daddy dig the drainage ditch in the back yard!

We are also busy removing the flagstone off of the back patio so as to redo it and make it smooth (less tripping hazards for Big Brother).  Little Sweetie jumped right in to help!

When they aren't working, these two have lots of fun in other ways!

Special pj pancake breakfast with Daddy at preschool!  They even put Daddy to work cooking!

Momma had to go to a conference in California, so Daddy and Little Sweetie even got to do some special outings together.  So glad they had this special time!

Lots of fun at the Museum of Natural History!

Hanging at the Children's Museum!

Someone is definitely having fun!

They are definitely enjoying each other's company!

Thankfully, she was still happy to see Momma when I got home!

Lots of other fun this month too.  Love celebrating Valentines Day with my Little Sweetie!

Excited for Valentine's Day!

Not so sure about it being Ash Wednesday too...

But she was happy to make our Lenten dinner and our Valentine's dessert!

Homemade fish sticks and cupcakes!

She also made this dessert earlier this month!  Our favorite chef.

Height and Weight
Someone finally hit 40 inches!  Hooray!  And up a pound to 39 pounds!

Personality
Can I just let this picture speak for itself?  She's our Little Sweetie and she's perfect.  A bit bossy but a lot of fun.  She's her own person and I love seeing her grow into herself.

Spiderman shirt and mask, check.  Ladybug rainbows, check.  Owl purse, check.  Ready for the day!

Developmental Milestones
Her creativity has been on particular display this month.  Lots of art and crafting and imagination.  She's constantly making up stories, songs, poems, and dances.  It's beautiful to watch!

Excellent fine motor and creative skills as she works on her LiteBrite!

I was treated to this awesome impromptu dance performance the other day!  She also narrated it.  :)

Fun Tidbits
Someone made her 25 miles for Run Club and will earn her kids' marathon medal at her race alter this month.  I am have been so proud to watch her get stronger, faster, and more determined over the course of this Run Club season.  I remember wondering if she would ever make it at the beginning of the season but she's shown us!  So proud of her!

Never give up!

She's also been very understanding and flexible this month.  Big Brother has faced some challenges which means that Momma and Daddy's attention has had to be on him and Little Sweetie has had to go with the flow.  I'm very proud of how she adapts and works to understand why brother needs more of our time right now.  She's going to have a very empathetic heart.

Until next month,
