November 19

It seems that I just blinked and now we're fully immersed into the school year and heading into the holidays!  What a month it's been!

We finished out October with Momma's birthday and a fun Halloween.  Our Captain Marvel loved hanging out with her Avengers friends to capture Thanos!

My two best forever birthday presents!

My pumpkins are ready for school on Halloween!

Captain Marvel and Captain America are ready to avenge some candy!

Black Widow joined them to help take down Thanos!

Goodnight my little skeletons!

Little Sweetie's been very busy with school activities and her Girl Scout troop this month.  She's always on the go!  We're so glad she's having such an exciting kindergarten year.

School Halloween party!

Fun at the school kickball event!

Ready for tie dye day during Red Ribbon Week!

Fall field trip fun to 7 Acre Wood!

Unfortunately, she tangled with a few fire ants on the field trip and had quite a few bites on her wrists and ankles.  Resting with her feet up with an ice pack to help the swelling go down.

As a proud Girl Scout myself, I can't help but be thrilled she's enjoying her Daisy adventures so much!

A great time up at the equestrian center!

Had a great troop cookout/campout experience!

Fun times learning about healthy food at a program at HEB!

And, of course, we're always cooking up a storm!

These tiny apple pies were amazing!

Carrot fish swimming in our seashell soup!

I was really proud of how much of the meatballs she did on her own for our Spaghetti and Meatball dinner!

Height and Weight
Little Sweetie weights 45.4 pounds this month and is measuring 44.5 inches tall!

The sweetest kindergartner I ever did see!

Personality
She is happy and excitable, but we've noticed a lot of emotional variance when she is tired and tasks are difficult or don't go her way.  Working on helping her regulate her emotions, while still validating them, and helping her listen to how her body feels and what factors, like being tired, may be making her prone to being upset.

All smiles after fixing her math homework, but was a complete wreck when she missed a question a few minutes earlier.  Working on helping her keep a growth mindset and to not internalize mistakes, but to see them as learning opportunities and practice, which they are.

Developmental Milestones
Extremely focused and creative.  Being bored is the best gift we can give her an it's working out well.

Took it upon herself to find an empty notebook and work on her letters and numbers writing.

Authored and illustrated a creative story about The Night Girl and has read it to us several times.

Fun Tidbits
This year was the first where an international World Sanfilippo Awareness Day was celebrated.  We took this picture in honor of the day and I love seeing our family holding on to each other, supporting one another.

We are stronger together.

It's crazy to believe in one month we'll be headed to Disney for the annual MPS Conference and then it's Christmas and the end of 2019!  Here we go!

See you in December,
