February 19

Hello February!  Our "baby" is growing up so quickly this year.  All these big kid activities are both terrifying in that she's old enough for them and amazing because I love seeing her develop and enjoy her life!  She's been very busy with school, Girl Scouts, and Run Club this month!

Three very exciting school things this month...she received the Monarch of Merit Award for December/January for the Virtue of Prudence, celebrated her 100th day of school, got to bring home Dora (the class stuffie) for a weekend adventure, and enjoyed her class Valentine's Day party!

Proud of this girl for all her achievements!

Someone is 100 days smarter!

Excited to tell her class about her weekend adventures with Dora!

Working on her Valentine's Projects and then enjoying her celebration at school!

Love this funny Valentine of mine!

Her first year of Girl Scouts is going strong...lots of adventures and her first time selling cookies!

Troop visit to the fire station!

Working on her selling, sorting, inventory, counting, adding, subtracting, and writing skills.  Girl Scout cookies are so much more than just cookies!

Staying active at Run Club too!

Smashed her miles at Run Club and ready for her race coming up!

And, as always, there's a lot of cooking in our little chef's life!

Making our own hummus!

Making hot chocolate sticks!

Getting her kale on!

Some delicious caprese sandwiches!

Height and Weight
Growing and growing!  Little Sweetie is 49 pounds this month and nearly 45.5 inches!

These pictures fit as she seems hungry and tired all the time...can definitely tell she's growing!

Personality
This one marches to the beat of her own drum and we couldn't be more pleased.  Live it up, girl, and be you!  I know there will be a time that comes that she'll be more self conscious (she experiences it sometimes around new people and says that she's "shy") but I am hoping she feels confident enough to fun and crazy and creative whenever she has the mind too.

Just being who she is outside of Chuy's!

Developmental Milestones
Our amazing helper girl (full disclosure, she also motivated by a quarter a day allowance for doing her responsibilities...works much better than the dollar a week in fact) who's also turning out to be quite the little pianist.

Helping Momma fold an entire basket of laundry!

Someone's been a big helper in finishing the garage renovation...and she's very excited for her very own workbench area!

Getting strong enough to ride her bike up and down the hill in the back yard...it's not a small hill, either!

Biggest milestone of the month...someone lost her second tooth!

Fun Tidbits
Family time is the best time.  She knows her family is her safe place and she revels in it, from snuggles to silliness.  I pray we can always be this close.

Sibling hugs.

Hammock time with Big Brother and Bat Sister.

She's been begging for breakfast in bed and finally got her wish!

Good night,
