Hoppy Easter!

A lovely Easter all around!  We packed a lot in this Easter weekend and it was worth it!

Dying eggs for the big day tomorrow!

Because last week we walked into Saturday afternoon Palm Sunday Mass only to walk straight back out because the cry room was too crowded, we decided to give 7:30 AM Easter Mass a shot.  Surprisingly, we actually made it early, got seats, and Little Buddy and Little Sweetie were pretty well-behaved through the entire service (an Easter miracle on it's own!).  Before heading home to see if the Easter Bunny had stopped by, we made a quick stop to see the bluebonnets in bloom!

Bluebonnet pictures...a Texas family tradition!

Easter baskets found!!!

After finding our families' baskets and eggs, it was time to prepare for our friends!  Each year we normally do an Easter egg hunt with our Texas family and reserve a park.  This year, we forgot to plan until late and all the parks were reserved, so we went ahead and just invited everyone to come over to our house to do the hunt in our backyard.  It was so much fun we may have to do it next year!

So much fun with the egg hunt, sprinters and pirate ship water canons, bubbles, and...

The young pup visitors wore out our old man, C, but he had fun!

Love this crew and am grateful for their friendship!

(Even if they are evil and hide gnomes for me to find.)

Thankful for this beautiful day and the beautiful friends we have to celebrate it with,
