We've been so fortunate to have such a beautiful preschool experience for Little Sweetie. It makes me sad to think of leaving it for Kindergarten next year, but I am going to be thankful for the wonderful memories and all they have taught her.
Cowgirl ready for Go Texan Day at school!
Holding baby chicks in her critter class!
Crafting a hat for Derby Day!
Showing off the finished project!
Ready for Derby Day!
Preschool also means preschool friends and playdates, like when C came over for an afternoon!
When she's not at school, she's working hard at gymnastics or cooking up a storm.
She's really excelling at gymnastics and loves it!
I consider her cooking time to be some of the best learning time she has. It teaches her how to plan, measure, create, problem solve, and see something through to the finish.
A delicious bean and corn salad.
Making some salmon!
Fruit salad!
Fresh squeezed lemonade!
Homemade mac and cheese!
What a great meal, Little Sweetie!
Go Altuve!
Enjoying the soccer game!
Strawberry picking with Daddy was also in order!
A great father-daughter day!
Playtime outside is also a must in this wonderful weather!
Love watching these two find a way to play together!
And sometimes outside time makes her become a rockstar superhero with a piece of pipe that's also a sword/guitar/vacuum!
And we had a beautiful day when we exploring the new home of Big Brother's horse therapy ranch.
Looking forward to many memories in the new space!
And now, as the month closes out, we are preparing for Easter! Little Sweetie has been so much more aware this year of the actual meaning of the holiday and it's been beautiful to see.
Love these little bunnies!
Height and Weight
This month, Little Sweetie weighed 45 pounds and was just under 43 inches.
Personality
I think this picture says it all. As we walked around our newly remodeled Target, we found pedestals that didn't have mannequins on them yet. Little Sweetie declared she was going to climb up and pose on them. This was her pose of choice and I couldn't be prouder.
Fearless and fierce, that's my girl. Never change.
Developmental Milestones
Little Sweetie continues to draw and create and have exceptional imaginative play. I am missing out on a fortune by not writing down all her narrations and turning it into a children's book series!
Just full of ideas!
We also love the fact that she is so interested in the world around her and how it works. When she comes to us telling us that she wants to do some science, we do some science!
Enthralled by science in action!
Fun Tidbits
My favorite moments of every month are always the ones of this sibling pair together. I love them with all my heart.
Engrossed in the best story time in town!
Sibling cuddles are the best!
Good night,
LSM
