March 19

Well, it's now been a full year of Pandemic Living.  The end of the tunnel is in sight as the vaccination role out continues, but we are still living cautiously to keep Daddy and Big Brother safe.  I will say I think we've come through everything really well and I've been so proud at how Little Sweetie has adapted to this strange new world.

Even though the world is different, our end of February and beginning of March seems to always look the same:  Racing for WILLPower!

WILLPower Kiddos ready for the 2k!

Celebrating a great run with the H girls!

Proud of my little running girl!

Cheering on Momma during her Half Marathon the week after!

Bittersweet moment, got to see Ms. R after the race but had to say goodbye as she is heading to Alaska at the end of the month.

Our March continued with celebrating Daddy's birthday and Spring Break!

Daddy picked Top Golf as his activity and we had a great time.  L got to come celebrate too!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Big Brother had a clinical trial trip coming up, so we hurried to make a family Spring Break outing before we left with him.  To the Zoo it was, with our Super Friends!

Wild Kratt's, ready for zoo time!

Enjoying the Zoo!

Such a great group of friends!

This Wild Kratt passed out on the way home, in full gear!

The next day, we had a quick St. Patrick's Day celebration before flying out.  Little Sweetie missed us, but she was more excited to have Mimi and Pop-Pop all to herself!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Little Sweetie even put on a pirate show for us when we got home!

Height and Weight
Little Sister is stable and strong at 53.2 pounds and right at 48 inches.

Our growing girl and her "magic swimsuit."  She's had it since she was 3 and it somehow still fits!

Personality
Silly and sweet and loving.  She has quite the animated personality but continues to be kind and caring.  She's a joy to spend time with.

Kisses for Big Brother!

Developmental Milestones
Her creativity continues to grow!  You can always find her building or creating things or narrating stories to herself.  Although she thinks all she wants to do is watch TV or play computer games, but really, once you get her away from those, she's perfectly happy building or digging in dirt!

Constantly designing things!

A solid afternoon of digging in dirt and making a "garden."

After her foray into Clue last month, we decided to start introducing her to more big kid games.  She has the logical thinking skills and level of attention necessary now for the longer, tougher games.

We were too chicken to try to do full Monopoly, but we invested in Monopoly Junior.  She loved it!

Fun Tidbits
Girl Scout cookie season is finishing up and Little Sweetie managed to sell over 500 boxes!  She's excited to use her "cookie dough" rewards to do a camp day this summer.

Cookie sales by R and Little Sweetie!

It's hard to believe that there's only two more months of school left and then we'll have a rising 2nd grader!  As long as school stays open.  Here's hoping!

Until then,

LSM
