April 19

Just another month of being busy and living her best life!  Momma and Daddy may be exhausted, but we are happy Little Sweetie is making so many memories, including her first experience hosting sleepover!

She and her friend from school, I, are very into Harry Potter right now and wanted to have a sleepover where they could watch all the movies. Since it was our first time hosting a sleepover, I decided to get a special set-up to commemorate the occasion.

Finding the Harry Potter set-up!

Ready for a great night!

Starting the movies!

Making some popcorn!

Ice cream intermission!

Still going strong!

Backyard playtime!

Picnic lunch and more movie watching!

Speaking of fun with school friends, Little Sweetie has been very busy (no surprise there!) with lots of school activities.

Love our school community!

Too cloudy to watch the highly anticipated eclipse on April 8.

We enjoyed this year's family dance, which was luau-themed!

Lots of fun with friends!

Great to have some family time!

Track started and chess finished. We enjoy watching her embrace her interests!

Getting her run on!

It was a really tough end of year chess tournament, but proud of her for doing her best!

She also had a great time at her Field Trip and on this year's Field Day!

Great day at the Houston Museum of Natural Science!

Field day was a fantastic day of fun!

Outside of school, we continued to keep busy with birthday parties and with supporting friends.

Enjoying playing quidditch at E's Harry Potter-themed party! She got to be the Seeker.

Getting to see E in a another play; this time Newsies!

And then it was time for Easter Break!  We were excited to enjoy our yearly traditions together of berry picking, cooking making, and egg dyeing.

Strawberry picking time!

Easter cookies!

Beautiful Easter eggs!

Happy Easter!  We made it to early Mass and got sit with Uncle M, Aunt S, and L. We took some pictures together afterward.

Happy Easter!

Godsibling fun!

After church, we came home for Easter egg and basket hunting.  Little Sweetie was excited that the Easter Bunny left her another scavenger hunt again this year!

Hunting for clues!

We found the baskets!

Easter goodies!

Inside egg hunt!

Easter brunch cheers!

Outdoor plastic egg hunt!

Love my two bunnies!

Ready for Easter dinner!

Height and Weight
Growing, growing, growing up! Little Sweetie is 78.2 pounds and 57.25 inches.

Another tooth lost this month!

Personality
Our happy little girl who does get pretty moody when she is tired. We are thrilled thought that she's still very "young" and still enjoying cartoons and toys.

Developmental Milestones
Again, just excited to see all of her interests develop. Besides track and chess, she also got a pretty big part in the Spring Arts Showcase Skit. And swim team will start soon! She's busy and friendly and fun and still like stories and cuddles. I'll take it for as long as I can;

Fun Tidbits
So we have some big news this month...after talking with Big Brother's Physical Therapist, we realized that it was time to find a home that was more accessible and better suited to his needs.  I was worried it was going to be hard to talk Little Sweetie into considering a move and that it was going to be hard to find a house that would work. Each was much easier than I anticipated and within 2 weeks we found it! It's only 5 minutes from our current home and we'll take the next month to move. It's going to be a crazy time, but we're all excited for this new adventure.

Checking out the new neighborhood!

Taking Buster on a walk to get him used to the new walking paths!

Little Sweetie's closing gift from our realtor!

Ready for our next chapter!

So next month will be in more memorable with the move! Here we go!

Good night,
