February 19

Already four months old!  It's amazing how fast time seems to go with your second baby.  All I want to do is snuggle her close and bask in these baby moments.  That's one of the reasons I am so glad I am keeping this blog:  I'm hoping this record will bring back these beautiful moments that seem to fly by!

Four months old and full of personality!

My future is so bright, I have to wear shades!

Little girl had a lot of fun this past month.  She even celebrated her first Valentine's Day!  I think Daddy's pretty happy to be her first Valentine.

Our sweet Valentine!

Smelling her rose from Daddy!

Momma and her smallest Valentine!

Our sweet, happy girl!

Height and Weight
Growing like a weed!  Her well check revealed her to be 15 lbs., 5 oz. (75%), 26 in. (97%), and 17 in. head circumference (98%).

Personality
She is truly a little sweetie!  Lots of social smiles and pretty calm (except when hungry or after shots).  She charmed everyone in New Orleans at the conference.

Developmental Milestones
Little Sweetie is still sleeping through the night (although the New Orleans trip got her a bit off schedule and led to some very EARLY morning wake-up calls).  She has now mastered rolling from both belly to back and back to belly, has been doing more conversational cooing and babbling, found her feet, and has picked out some favorite toys that she likes to play with!

Toy time!  Loving her mirror and yellow dog!

Just rolled from back to belly!

Fun Tidbits
Little Sweetie and big brother are becoming best of friends.  He loves spending time with her, playing with her, reading to her, and teaching her things.  There is nothing more beautiful to me than watching them develop a sibling bond.  Chesney even gets in on the fun!

Tummy time with both her big brothers!

Brother can't get enough of her...he wants us to take pictures of him holding her hand (in the matching skeleton outfits he picked out) and holding her.  He is such a loving big brother!

"Let me read you my ninja book, sister!"

So inspired by The Lego Movie, he had to teach sister about how blocks work and what colors they are.  I love how intently she is paying attention to the lecture!

I honestly can't believe how fast our girl is growing up!  But I'm so thrilled to be part of her adventures and love being her momma.  I am so thankful every day for the miracles that are my kiddos, and I work very hard not to take one moment for granted.

Good night,

LSM
