Family Date to San Antonio!

Because we aren't traveling for the holidays until January for a late Christmas, we decided to take our first mini-vacation as a family of four to San Antonio.  With the River Walk and Sea World decorated for Christmas, we thought the trip would be a fun way to put us in the spirit of the season.  We stayed at a hotel downtown and walked to nearly everything.  Little Sweetie was in the carrier most of the time and did great!

We spent the first night on the River Walk.  It was a lot of fun and the decorations were gorgeous.

We spent the next day at the Children's Museum and at Sea World.  Although Little Sweetie won't remember it, Big Brother had a great time.  Can't wait to go again when they can both fully enjoy it!

Loaded in the stroller and headed into Sea World.  Couldn't resist getting them some new toys at the Sesame Street area of the park.  Big Brother picked Bert and Little Sister lucked out in that the "vintage" character of the month was Prairie Dawn.

We spent Sunday morning at the Alamo and couldn't resist getting Little Sweetie a bonnet to commemorate her first visit.

So went our first family vacation with two kids.  I have to say it was a big success and am a little less worried about our flying back to Ohio next month!
